Iowa-Audrine Lois Pousson Marcantel, 89, passed away July 18, 2010 at her residence. She was a lifelong resident of Iowa and was a homemaker and great cook.
Funeral service for Mrs. Marcantel will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 2pm in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Fr. Roland Vaughn will officiate. Burial will follow in LeFranc Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder beginning Tuesday, July 20, 2010 from 4-8pm with a rosary being recited at 6pm. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 from 10 am until time of service.
Mrs. Marcantel was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Marcantel, Sr., two sons, Russell Marcantel and Medwin Marcantel, and a daughter, Hazel Marcantel.
Survivors include her two daughters, Janet Fewell and husband, Henry of Lake Charles and Maxine Reed and husband, Wade of Many; one son, Fred Marcantel, Jr. and wife, Pat of Bryan, Texas; one brother, Floyd Pousson and wife, Delores of Kinder; one sister, Marlene Gentry of Iowa; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
