Elton- A Celebration of Life gathering honoring Arlene Marie Treme, 65, will be held at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton on Saturday morning, September 27, 2025, from 8 o'clock a.m. to 12 o' clock p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 11 o'clock a.m. Arlene's family will host a private inurnment service at a future date. All of Arlene's arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton.

Arlene Marie Treme was born on Sunday, June 12, 1960, to the union of Harold and Betty Ann Hebert Treme. She grew up on her family farm in the country, she was always outside helping her father with the farm and his flying service, which brought her much joy. She was a 1979 graduate of Elton High School and enjoyed playing basketball during her school years. Arlene went on to attend LSUE, where she studied business.  She was an avid LSU fan and never missed an opportunity to cheer the Tigers on even from home.

Arlene worked in the refineries for Turner Industries for 20 plus years where she would be promoted from the tool room to scheduling and planning for the company. She was known for her spicy and humorous attitude. She also had a green thumb and was very talented at restoring antiques.

Arlene loved spending time with her family including her fur baby, sweet Bella and was considered the family caretaker. She was a very loving and caring person and will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish Arlene's memory include her daughter, Melissa LeJeune; her son by choice, Tony "T.J." Broussard; one brother, J.S. Treme and Wife Anne; and a host of extended family members and friends.

Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Betty Ann Hebert Treme.
