Kinder- Funeral service for Mr. Archie Wendell Morgan Jr., 62, will be Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at 2 p.m. in Indian Village Pentecostal Church. Bro. Terry Bushnell will officiate. Burial will be in Green Oak Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.

Visitation will be Monday, December 25, 2006 from 2p.m. to 11 p.m., and will reopen Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. Visitation will resume at 1 p.m. at the Indian Village Pentecostal Church until the time of service.

Mr. Morgan was a life-long resident of Kinder, and proudly served his country as a U.S. Marine. He was a wonderful and loving father and grandfather, as well as a friend to all. Mr. Morgan died Saturday, December 23, 2006 in his residence after a long illness.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Barbara R. Morgan of Kinder; one son, Mr. Scott Morgan of Kinder; one daughter, Ms. Kim Moore of Kinder; two grandchildren, Kaylee Morgan and Bryson Moore of Kinder; two brothers, Mike Morgan of Kinder, and Johnny Nunez of Lake Charles; three sisters, Linda Moss and Mona Bell of Kinder, and Pat Brinson of Dayton, TX; one aunt, Mrs. Murphy Janis Gauthreaux of Kinder.
