Kinder- Funeral service for Mrs. Annie Belle Cooper, 89, will be held Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 10:00am in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. B. Franks, Rev. Terry Bushnell, & Rev. Terrance Brownlow-Dindy will officiate. Burial will follow in Indian Village Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Monday from 5pm-8:30pm and will continue Tuesday at 8am until time of service.
Mrs. Cooper was a resident of Kinder and a member of Kinder Church of Christ. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, and was the owner and operator of Cooper's Grocery in Indian Village. Mrs. Cooper passed away Saturday, November 14, 2009.
Survivors include one son, Donald Cooper & wife Christine of Kinder; one daughter, Martha Cooper Mallette & husband Joe of Kinder; two sisters, Pearl Thibodeaux & Winifred Franks both of Arkansas; 7 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Cooper is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Cooper; daughter, Willidean Cooper Savant; brother, Wayne Hebert; three sisters, Margie Newsom, Josie Hebert Kennedy, Jessie Litton, and her parents.
