Kinder-Funeral services for Annette Shanabarger Pitre, 51, will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home. Rev. Alfred Gibson will officiate. Burial will follow at LeBlanc Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.
The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder on Friday, October 14, 2022 from 4-9 p.m. Visitation will resume on Saturday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Annette was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and aunt. She enjoyed collecting Coca-Cola cans and products, as well as angels, watching Sifi movies and boy did she love drinking her morning coffee. Annette made the absolute best bread dressing, Mexican corn bread and chicken and dumplings. She loved God and her jewelry. Annette will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish Annette's memory include her three sons, Josh Shanabarger (Ashley), Aaron Pitre (Micaela) and Wilson Walker; four daughters, Desirae Martin (Tyler), Brandy Pitre, Cheyenne Miller and Lattie Miller; three brothers, Jimmy, Roger and Richard Shanabarger; sister, Deborah "Debbie" Cook (Steve); five grandchildren, Jacob, Noah, Kenzie, Daxton and Ivy; two nieces, Jessica Shanabarger (Erik) and Brooklyn Fontenot; nephew, Gabriel Fontenot; along with many other nieces and nephews.
Annette is preceded in death by her parents, Jackie LeJeune and James Shanabarger; husband, Willie Paul Walker; and brother-in-law, Ray Daniels.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home in Annette's memory to help cover funeral costs.
