Annabelle was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a God-fearing woman and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Elton where she attended church. She was good hearted, kind, and caring, and to know Annabelle was to love her. She was resident of Elton and attended Elton High School. During her tenure at Golden age and Camelot Nursing Homes, she wanted no one to come visit her unless they brought her boudin. Annabelle was funny and outgoing. She loved animals but especially loved dogs. She had an inapt ability to predict the gender of all 12 of the children in her family. She was a wonderful person and will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew her.
Those left to cherish Annabelle's memory include her two sons, Dominic and Jeffery Chretien; three brothers, Clayton Chretien and wife Josephine, Leo Chretien and wife Yvonne, and Albert Chretien and wife Maxine; two sisters, Wilamae Terrazas and husband Michael, and Linda Faye Terrazas and husband Armando; two grandchildren, Donovan and Angel Chretien, one great grandson, Nathaniel Chretien; one God daughter, Diondra Pete and husband Dustin; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Annabelle is preceded in death by her parents, Robert, and Irene Chretien; two brothers, Dalton, and Robert Jr. Chretien, and one sister, Rita Marie Sonnier.
