Greg Willis and Rev. Robbie Rollins will officiate. Anna will be peacefully laid to rest at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Anna's family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oakdale on Friday, August 18, 2023, from 4-10 o'clock p.m. Anna's visitation will resume on Saturday morning from 8 o'clock a.m. until time of service. All of Anna's arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oakdale.

Anna was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister aunt and friend. She was a devoted wife to her husband Johnny for 37 years until his passing. Anna loved spending time with her family whom she adored dearly. She loved to dance and make memories with her family in which she cherished unconditionally. She was a selfless person who's love and compassion knew no boundaries. Anna was a woman of strong faith, in fact, her love for God was the only thing bigger than her heart. Her generosity to those in need was endless and it did not matter if she knew you well, barely knew you, or did not know you at all. Anna was a firm believer in second chances and a "shining lighthouse" to many people that the world forgot or turned a blind eye to. Anna was a giver, weather she had very little, or an abundance and the world was a much brighter place because of this. Although Anna was tiny, the love she had for those she cared about was larger than life itself. Anna will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish Anna's memory include her mother, Dorothy Jeffers; one son, John Boy Durant and wife Stacey; two daughters, Crystal Taylor and husband Bobby, and Shellie Durant; two brothers, Jay Perkins and Eddie Livingston; one sister, Mary Annette West; thirteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Anna is preceded in death by her father J.E. Perkins; her husband, Johnny Durant; two brothers, Jerry and Mike Perkins; and one sister Deanna Strange.
