Oberlin-A Mass of Christian Burial for Anita Louise Lange LaFleur, 76, will be held Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 12 noon at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Rev. Jacob Connor will officiate. Burial will follow at Oberlin Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oberlin beginning Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Anita was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Valton, for 36 years until his passing in 2001. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, eating sweet treats, especially chocolate candies and an occasional Coca-Cola. Her family was very special to her. Anita will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Anita's memory include her son, Kal LaFleur and wife, Maryln, of Iota; daughter, Charmin Broussard of Rayne; and three grandchildren, S. Sgt. Keenan LaFleur of Warner Robbins, GA, Kalvin LaFleur of Lafayette and Alecza LaFleur of Iota.

Anita is preceded in death by her parents, Emar Lange and Mable Fontenot Lange; husband, Valton LaFleur; one brother, James Lange; and one sister, Joyce Lange Hayes.
