Dry Creek-Funeral Services for Andrew "Bo" D. Baggette, Jr., 69, will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Cherry Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Joshua Eubanks will officiate. Burial will follow at Dry Creek Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Cherry Grove Baptist Church on Monday, February 1, 2021 from 5-9 p.m. Visitation will resume on Tuesday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.

Bo was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Linda, for fifty-two years. He attended church at Cherry Grove Baptist Church. He was a kind and well liked person in his community. Bo loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and trapping. He could fix anything and was very mechanically inclined. He and his wife built their own home with their own hands with lumber they milled from their property. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Bo was always willing to lend a helping hand and was a very giving person. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Bo's memory include his wife, Linda Baggette; four sons, Shannonbo Baggette of Baytown, TX, Jerico Jack Baggette and wife, Gena, of Deridder, Joshua John Baggette and wife, Kristy, of Moss Bluff and Kaylum Ivy Baggette of Doodlefork; three sisters, Glenda Sue Baggett of Kinder, Andrea Gail Courville and husband, Terry, of Kinder and Gloranna Pursley "Toot" of Doodlefork; fourteen grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Bo is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew, Sr., and Lucille Baggett; and two sisters, Genevieve Ryder and Georgia Nell Guillory.
