Oberlin-A Mass of Christian burial honoring Anderson Angelus Comoe Jr., 69, will be held on Friday morning, April 10, 2026, at 11 o’clock a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Oberlin, LA. Rev. Fr. Pradeep Gali will officiate. Anderson will be laid to rest at Southwest Louisiana Veteran Cemetery in Jennings, LA immediately following his services.
Anderson’s family will receive friends and visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oberlin on Friday morning, April 10, 2026, from 8 o’clock a.m. until time of service with the recitation of the Holy Rosery at 10 o’clock a.m. All of Anderson’s arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oberlin.
Anderson was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was born on Wednesday, April 18, 1956, to the union of Anderson and Alice Comeaux in Oberlin, La. Anderson served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corp. He enjoyed being outdoors and reading his Bible. He will be greatly missed and forever loved by all who knew him.
Those left to cherish Anderson’s memory include his son, Joshua Comoe and wife Deandra of Cypress TX; daughter, Sara Comoe of Oberlin, LA; three sisters, Rosella Berry of Odesa Tx, Beatrice Cezar, and Florence Comeaux both of Oberlin, LA; three grandchildren, Faith, Alaska and Aurora; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Anderson is preceded in death by his parents, Anderson and Alice Comeaux; two brothers, Andrew and Roy Comeaux; two sisters, Mary Lou Reeves and Dorothy Berry.
Anderson’s family would like to extend special thanks to Southwest Louisiana Veterans Home and St. Francis Nursing and Rehabilitation for the care they showed Anderson.
