Kinder- Alyssa Kylene Sonnier, 31, died December 7, 2006 in Lafayette following a lengthy illness.
Alyssa was a devoted daughter, sister, and friend. She graduated from LSU in 2002 with a master's degree in Social Work. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her and loved her.
Visitation will be in the First United Pentecostal Church in Kinder Friday, December 8, 2006 from 3 p.m.- 10 p.m. with a celebration of life service at 7p.m.
Visitation will continue Saturday from 9a.m.-10a.m. Burial will be in Kinder McRill cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Terrance Brown-Low Dindy will officiate graveside services.
Survivors include her parents, Tommy & Diane Sonnier of Kinder; three brothers, Todd Sonnier and Jennifer Sprague of Houston, TX, Josh Sonnier and Rene Repp of Lafayette, Adam Sonnier and wife Amberly of Kinder; niece Ava Kylene Sonnier.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cleney and Josie Sonnier; Percy and Nona Leland.
