Elton-Funeral service for Allen "Tee Put" Soileau, Jr., 60, will be held Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church of Elton. Rev. Marshall Boulet will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton.
The family will receive visitors at St. Paul Catholic Church on Tuesday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Allen was a lifelong resident of Elton. He was a devoted husband, loving dad and grandfather. He worked hard over the years as a welder to provide for his family. He enjoyed the outdoors, cookouts with his family, music and dancing. He loved to laugh and have a good time. "Tee Put" will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Deborah Soileau of Elton; two sons, Frederick Soileau and wife, Uniqueco "NeNe" of Jennings and Carlos Soileau and wife, Sonnie of Wichita, KS; one daughter, Allenia Soileau of Lake Charles; three brothers, Alfred Soileau and wife, Dianh of Elton, Wilfred Soileau and wife, Maurdy of Denham Springs, and Richard Soileau of Elton; two sisters, Mary Walker and husband, Frankie of Austin, TX and Cheryl Endsely and husband, Ron of Houston, TX; seven grandchildren, Marcus, Trinidy, Luxe, Saint, Talil, Tia, Takia and Tadrian; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Allen is preceded in death by his parents, Allen, Sr. and Catherine Soileau; three brothers, Simon, Clarence and Shirley Soileau; and one sister, Josephine Soileau.
