Obituary

Elton-A Mass of Christian burial honoring Allen Paul "AP" Arvie, 44, will be held at 10 o'clock a.m. on Saturday morning, December 28, 2024, at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Elton. Rev. Fr. Jose Vattakunnel will officiate. "AP" will be laid to rest at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Elton immediately following his services.

"AP's" family will receive friends and visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton on Friday evening, December 27, 2024 from 5-10 o'clock p.m. with a prayer vigil and the praying of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7 o'clock p.m. All of "AP's" arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton.

On December 3, 1980, God blessed Allen "Keebler" and Anna "Connie" Arvie with their 3rd child, Allen Paul. Allen Paul who was lovingly known as "AP" or "Boo," was a happy soul. At the tender age of six, "AP" was involved in a terrible accident where he was trampled by a horse. He was hospitalized for approximately six months, and during that time doctors gave a grim prognosis. "AP" beat the odds and recovered, going on to live life until the ripe age of 44 when he entered his eternal rest in his bedroom, his place of solace. "AP" was one of a kind. He made people laugh, he loved family, and he loved God. He was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church all his life. "AP" loved wrestling! All his siblings, nieces, and nephews can probably tell stories of times he used wrestling moves or times he "took them to boot camp!" "AP" will always be remembered as the family member that could remind you of birthdays and memories of things that happened back in the day. "AP" was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be unconditionally loved and forever missed by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish "AP's" memory include his father, Allen James Arvie; two brothers, Damian Arvie and wife Katie, and Adam Arvie; one sister, Tobey Carrier and husband Chad; six nieces, Alanna Arvie (Godchild), Trinity Williams, Autumn Williams (Godchild), Victoria Carrier, Lizzie Williams, and Shamariah Joubert; five nephews, Mackenzie Carrier, Isaac Carrier, Braxtyn Williams, Dajavon Wilson, and Adam Arvie; and one great niece, Anna Faye Carrier.

"AP" is preceded in death by his mother, Anna Rena Ceaser Arvie.

Condolences and words of comfort may be shared with "AP's" family at www.ardoinfuneralhome.com or on Facebook at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.
