Oberlin-Celebration of Life services honoring Aline Marie Carrier, 67, will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at 2 o'clock p.m. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Oberlin. Deacon Dale Deshotel will officiate. Aline will be laid to rest at Durio Cemetery in Oberlin immediately following her service.

Aline's family will receive friends and visitors at Oberlin Baptist Church on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, from 7-10 o'clock p.m. Aline's visitation will resume at Oberlin Baptist Church on Wednesday morning, November 28, 2023, from 9 o'clock a.m. until time of service. All of Aline's arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oberlin.

Aline was a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and friend to all. She was a faithful and devoted member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Oberlin where she attended church regularly. Aline loved and adored her family and dearly loved to spend time with them. She also loved to spend time with her friends. She was a wonderful cook and loved to cook for her family. Aline was very proud of her Catholic heritage and was dedicated to praying her rosary. She was a very kind and caring person and will be unconditionally loved and forever missed by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish Aline's memory include her mother, Rosa Belle Carrier of Oberlin, LA; two brothers, Jerry James Carrier and wife Brenda of Elizabeth, LA, and Houston "Bill" Carrier and wife Gloria of Elton, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Aline is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Carrier; and her son, Nakia "Nick" Ware.
