Kinder-Funeral service for Alida Christine Reed, 29, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 14, 2006 in First United Pentecostal Church of Kinder. Bro. Terry LaFleur will officiate. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Visitation will be Monday at 11 a.m.-10 p.m. in the funeral home. Visitation will continue Tuesday at 8 a.m. until the time of service.
Mrs. Reed was a native of Elton and a resident of Duralde. She died Friday, November 10, 2006 in Eunice. She was a graduate of Elton High School and a loving wife and mother, as well as a friend to all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Jacob Reed of Duralde; two sons, Connor Lane Reed and Matthew Preston Reed; her parents, Priscilla LaFosse of Elton, and John and Debbie LaFosse of Kinder; one brother, Daron Blaine LaFosse of Oberlin; her grandmothers, Ida Miller of Elton, and Ruby LaFleur of Kinder as well as six brothers-in-law, three sisters-in-law, seven nephews and seven nieces. She was preceded in death by her sister, Stephanie Lea LaFosse. She will be greatly missed.
