Kinder Funeral service for Mrs. Alida Sliman Dallas, 89, will be held Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at 10:00a.m. in St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Father Carlos Garcia will officiate. Burial will be in Carter Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will be Monday from 2pm-10pm with a vigil at 6p.m. and a rosary will follow. Visitation will continue Tuesday at 8a.m. until time of service.
Mrs. Dallas was a resident of Kinder, member of the Ladies Altar Society, and an accomplished seamstress. She was a loving mom, granny, and a devoted wife. Mrs. Dallas died Sunday, October 1, 2006 in Kinder.
Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Marcantel & husband Lynn, Linda Gauthreaux & husband Murphy all of Kinder; one brother, Mitchell Sliman of Eunice; 3 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Dallas was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Bert Dallas.
