Kinder- Funeral service for Alfred "Carl" Henriksen, 48, will be held Sunday, January 24, 2010 at 2PM in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Burial will follow in Hebert Cemetery in Hecker.
Visitation will be held Saturday from 2pm-9pm and will continue Sunday at 8am until time of service.
Carl was a resident of Buller. He enjoyed hunting, horses, and the outdoors. Carl passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2010.
Survivors include his mother, Jane Avery of Buller; lifelong companion, Carolyn Johnson of Buller; daughter, Crystal Henriksen of Columbia, MS; four step children, Jenny Lou Hobbs, Japeth Garley, Thomas Hobbs, & Nicholas Johnston all of Buller; brother, Max Dale Henriksen of Buller; 2 grandchildren.
Carl is preceded in death by his father, Charles Avery.
