Kinder-Celebration of Life services honoring Alexander “Alex” Chrisoulis will be held on Thursday afternoon, October 8, 2026, at 1 o’clock p.m. at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder, LA. Nick Sarandis will officiate. Alex will be laid to rest at Kinder McRill Cemetery in Kinder, LA immediately following his services.
Alex’s family will receive relatives and friends at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 4-9 o’clock p.m. Alex’s visitation will resume at Ardoin/Allen Parish funeral home from 8 o’clock a.m. until time of service.
Alexander "Alex" Chrisoulis, age 67, was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. Alex was born on Tuesday, May 5, 1959, in San Jose, CA, to Nicholas and Sophie Chrisoulis and died on Thursday, October 1, 2026. Alex lived for God with deep faith and love. He had an exuberant love of life and people, staying in close contact with friends throughout the years. At 15 years old, Alex began playing drums professionally and played many genres of music; jazz being his favorite. Music was a passion and ministry that he shared with others. He worked for 32 years in the transportation industry and is beloved by co-workers. Alex will be remembered for his joyful smile, kind heart, quiet strength, and quick wit and will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
Alex is survived by his wife, Anne Marie Fournet Chrisoulis; his daughters, Alexis Dominique Chrisoulis Summerlin, and Christina Eve Chrisoulis Smith, and husband, Joshua James Smith; three grandchildren, Mikaela Dominique Summerlin, Viviana Alexandria Summerlin, and Carter James Smith; sister, Stephanie Ann Chrisoulis Sproule; niece, Jennifer Marie Sproule Kutch, and husband, Colin Kutch; nephew, Michael Allen Sproule, and wife, Sarah Sproule; great nephews, Lincoln and Wyatt Sproule; many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas and Sophie Chrisoulis; and brother, James Nicholas Chrisoulis.
The family expresses deep gratitude for the quality of care provided by HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe medical team and staff, especially Dr. Dylan Jaing.
