Fenton- Funeral service for Mr. Cecil Corbello, 66, will be held Sunday, November 9, 2008 at 2 p.m. in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Fenton. Father Vaughn will officiate. Burial will follow in Hebert Cemetery in Hecker under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will be held in the funeral home Saturday from 1pm-10pm with a rosary at 7pm. Visitation will continue Sunday at 8am until time of service.
Mr. Corbello was a resident of Fenton, was the village of Fenton Plant Supervisor, member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church where he was a Confirmation class instructor and a Franciscan. He was active in the Boy Scouts, member of Louisiana Trappers Association, member of LRWA, and a U.S. Navy Veteran. Cecil enjoyed trapping, fishing, and raising chickens with his grandchildren. He will be missed by all, but especially by his grandchildren who were the love of his life.
Survivors include his loving wife of 27 years, Katherine M. Kibodeaux Corbello of Fenton; two sons, Daniel Paul Kibodeaux & wife Kodi of Fenton, First Class Petty Officer, Lucas Aaron Corbello & wife Allison of Moncks Corner, South Carolina; four brothers, Larry Corbello & wife Beverly of Moss Bluff, Delbert Corbello & wife Diane of Erath, Gilbert Corbello of LeBleu Settlement, & Roger Corbello of Houston; two sister, Janice C. Broussard of Sulphur & Sherry Gordie & husband Terry of Fernandina Beach, FL; six grandchildren, Ridge, Treyc` Logan, Trevor Paul, & Ally Belle Kibodeaux, Ethan Aaron & Owen William Corbello; seven brother-in-laws, Ralph Miller, A.J. & Lois Miller, Luther & Mary Miller, Tiny Miller, Jerry & Sheila Miller, Mack & JoAnn Miller, Johnny & Linda Miller; Godchild, C.J. Landry.
