Kinder-On Friday, December 16, 2022 God saw Agnes was tired and called her home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 24, 2022 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. Pastor Eddie Alfred will officiate. Burial will follow at Ceaser Cemetery in Duralde under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Saturday, December 24, 2022 from 9 a.m. until time of service.

Agnes was born on November 9, 1961 to Harris and Elva Ceaser in Mamou, LA. She was the baby of the family, and her father spoiled her. She enjoyed growing up in rural Duralde, LA and graduated from Mamou High School. Agnes met and married Michael Artis and to this union they were blessed with Lil Mike and Angel. Agnes loved having a good time with her family and friends. She had a big heart for helping anyone. Agnes enjoyed cooking, housekeeping and riding horses. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Forever cherishing her memories are her son, Michael Ceaser (Sandy) of Houston, TX; daughter, Angel Landry (Dominic) of Lake Charles; eight siblings, Lawrence and Nolton Semien of Elton, Viola Fontenot of Baytown, TX, Theresa Cormier of Lake Charles, Harris Ceaser, Jr. of Opelousas, Alice Harmon, Haddie Goodley (Martel) and Laddie Fontenot; nine grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
