Obituary

Elton-Funeral service for Aggie Fruge, age 90, will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 10am in St. Paul Catholic Church of Elton. Fr. Marshall Boulet will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton.
Visitation will be held at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 from 2-9pm with a rosary being recited at 6pm. Visitation will continue on Thursday, June 7, 2012 from 8am until time of service.
Aggie was a life-long resident of Elton. She graduated from Eunice High School and also attended S.L.I. at Lafayette. She and her late husband, Leo Fruge, raised their family in Elton, where she taught school for six years and worked in the retail business for many years, as well. She loved gardening and continued to plant flowers until she passed away. Aggie was a wonderful mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. Aggie was known for her great sense of humor. She enjoyed living life to the fullest and was quoted for encouraging her loved ones to "live without regrets".
Survivors include one son, Harold Fruge and wife, Vickie of Gulfport, MS; three daughters, Connie Kelley and husband, Alan of Elton, Elizabeth Hebert and husband, Billy of Maurice, and Cecile Langlois of Marapas; one sister, Ann Miller of Kansas City, MO; nine grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Aggie is preceded in death by her husband, Leo Fruge; her parents, Marshall and Eugenia Courville; two sisters and one brother.
