Kinder-Funeral services for Grayson S. Reynolds, 55, will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder with the family welcoming visitors from 5-7 p.m.  On Friday, March 11, 2022, a private graveside service for the family will be held at Kinder McRill Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes and officiated by Rev. Don Barrett of Kinder Bible Church.

Grayson was a 1984 graduate of Kinder High School known for his avid participation in marching-band, as well as his keen interest in all things mechanical. His vocational pursuits allowed him to achieve success as an auto-mechanic, later serving proudly as a commissioned Deputy Sheriff with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Department Automotive Maintenance Division.

Always mindful of his upbringing, Grayson enjoyed tuning fast cars with big engines as much as he loved cooking for coworkers, friends, and family alike. Gracious yet humble, he never hesitated to offer welcoming words or a helping hand. His quiet, reassuring presence will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Grayson's memory include his mother, Phyllis Lawrence of Kinder; his significant other, Mary Colleen Turner of Lake Charles; his son, Gage Stanley Reynolds of Lake Charles; his brother, Lynn Stanley Reynolds of Lake Charles; his son Gage's mother, Tina Marie Miller; his former wife, Kelli Ann Reynolds; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Grayson is preceded in death by his father, Robert (Bob) Reynolds.
